Add a free layer

Using the Plus button plus button, you can add a "Free" layer or sublayer. This layer won't receive any objects by can help you organise your layer table (think tab in a folder...) .
By default, this layer will be named "New Layer", to rename it, you will need to Edit a layer name

Edit a layer name

Select a layer in the layer structure panel and use the edit layer button button to edit a layer name.

The attribute key appears in brackets, as long as you don't modify the text within these brackets, you are free to modify the string as you wish. This means you can :

Add a prefix or a suffix to the layer name

If you add text before or after the key in bracket, these texts will appear around the attribute value in the layer name.
If we use the same example as in [Getting Started ](GettingStarted .md)/ First use, here is the result :

Chain multiple attributes together

You can combine multiple attribute keys within the same layer. To do so, either click the chain button chain button and select an attribute in the list, or freely type an existing attribute within brackets. prefix suffix

Purge existing layers

By ticking the purge existing layer box, if a layer containing objects moved by prism become empty, this layer will be deleted. This does NOT delete layers that were empty before running the tool.

Save & Load Layer structure

You can save and load a layer structure using the dedicated save button & load button buttons.
